  2. •1994: graduated from SHIVKV-Genk with a Master in Industrial Design

  3. •1994 - 1998: worked part-time as a teacher at BuSO Mechelen a school for children with special needs

  4. •1997 to present: Product Manager at Smart nv

  5. •Married to Jeannine Vrins; we have 2 sons, Lieven and Karel.

Raf Peeters:

Je fais partie de ces chanceux qui ont pu faire de leur passion leur métier. Je travaille comme chef de produit pour Smart s.a., le producteur et distributeur belge de jouets et jeux haut de gamme. Au travail, je développe des jeux et jouets et coordonne leur pré-production. Aidé par mes collègues Marit et Hans, j’élabore des concepts, je les teste et conçois les logos, emballages ainsi que les design de produit. Je suis de près tous les processus de production avec les fabricants et les imprimeurs jusqu’à l’arrivée du produit sur le marché.


Voici quelques unes de mes collections majeures finies ou encore en développe:

  1. -SmartPlanet (1998): étoiles phosphorescentes.

  2. -SmartFrames (1998 - 2004): structures de perles.

  3. -Speedies: véhicules en bois pour les tout petits.

  4. -SmartWood (2002- 2004): collection jouets en bois: SmartWood.jpeg

  5. -SmartGames (1999 - 2010): jeux de logique pour 1 joueur.


Par ailleurs, je conçois avec ma femme des projets sous le nom de OKER bvba, dont certains ont été commercialisés par Smart s.a., en particulier sous la collection de SmartGames. Ceci fait actuellement partie de mes grandes passions ce qui explique pourquoi j’y consacre un chapitre entier.
